Our Monday night study group
A Morning Dove that makes it's nest on top of this decoration
Got to bed last night before today, in fact well before midnight, a whole hr., in fact. Now you say, what's the big deal, well for me anything before midnight is good. It's weird but all day I can be tired and then later in the eve. I perk right up, sort of. It must be my 5 hr. nap I take, just kidding, it's usually 1 to 2 hrs., in fact today it was one short hr. and I was up and going, slowly that is. So, if you want to read this. hot off the press, you have to stay up late with me. :-)
Anybody want a cute, buff colored, cocker, not seriously but I thought about it for a moment. Today I went to use my cell phone and....shock, the face of my cell phone was shattered and we noticed two teeth marks. I had left my purse on our bed and she loves to get into it whenever she gets a chance. I knew she had gotten into it but didn't notice my phone at the time. Shucky-darn, it looks like I will have to get a new phone and what's amazing, is our two yr. plan just ended, how about that for good timing. Guess I will keep Sandy after-all.
This eve. we got together with our Mon. night group and instead of a lesson we had dinner, which we do once a month. This month we met at the Flygare's (Grant and Gladys) and on their back porch, up high, is a Morning Dove, nesting in a large decoration. She has had little baby Morning Dove's a couple of times that they can see, right out their living room window. She has come back a couple of Summers now and since it is such a safe place I am sure she will be coming back every Summer. Very cool when one can have good old "Mother Nature" right in their back yard.
I can really relate to this one.
Our company was conducting free body mass index checkups. When a stout colleague climbed onto the machine, it spit out a slip of paper telling him what his weight-to-height ratio was and what it ought to be.
"What does it say?" I asked.
He replied, "I need to increase my height by six inches."
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
It is only with the heart that one can see rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eye.
