This is Baileigh, our great-grandchild. Cute huh.
Bill and I had lunch today with Diane and Larry Shinker. To my great surprise she had made me an afghan. So soft and cozy. I am so blessed with a wonderful, patient, husband, a great supportive family, my church, many good friends and much more. I can't fail with all of this love. When you see me and wonder what to do or say, a hug or smile will do for me and then you can tell me about you. I get tired talking about me all the time. I hope you enjoyed your day as much as I did.
Thought for today
"Despite the changes which come into our lives and with
gratitude in our hearts, may we fill our days, as much as
we can, with those things which matter most."
President Thomas S. Monson, "Finding joy in the Journey"

ReplyDeleteHave a good day today Robin...not sure where that wind came from late yesterday afternoon...Larry brought in the flower bowls I got for my birthday that were on the patio and are now on the kitchen table. Joe visits today and Larry is off to the golf course this morning...so, Diane needs to do a little work around the house...also bought a new book yesterday which will keep me busy...hope it is not so good though that I have problems putting it down.........happy you like your afghan...remember...it is my arms around you. Love you honey, Diane
ReplyDeleteIt's just not possible for you guys to have such a beautiful great-grandchild. I don't even have grandchildren yet. But considering he's only 23 and still an idiot a lot of the time, that is fine with us for a couple more years.
ReplyDeleteWe're sitting in Yuma in the sunshine, sending lots of prayers and hugs your way.
