This is Emilie and her dad just before she got Baptized

Very happy Emilie after her Baptism

Day 6....A whirlwind of a good day.  First off, Emilie's Baptism, which was very nice.  Kevin's family, from out of town, and those that live here, and also our family, were there.  After this we all went to Janene and Kevin's home for lunch.  The weather was amazing and not in such a good way but we all figured it made for good memories.  Tri-Cities weather true to form.  First it started to sprinkle, then it stopped and then started to rain real hard and stopped many times until it started to hail, and the sun was shining as the hail came down. In spite of the weather, we all had a great time with everyone.  We came home and took a much needed nap because we had more to do in the eve.  Our Stake (explained what a Stake was earlier) put on a dinner-theater. The play was hilarious with such great talent.  It turned out, more than 100 people came than expected, which was very good.
It was a great day.  Tomorrow I get to go to church, I'm excited.

Angels Explained by Children
Mitchell 7....Angels work for God and watch over kids when God has to go to do something else.
Henry 8....My guardian angel helps me with math, but he's not much good for science.
Jack 6....Angels don't eat, but they drink milk from Holy Cows.
Daniel 9....Angels talk all the way while they're flying you up to heaven.  The main subject is where you went wrong before you got dead.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Shared grief is half the sorrow,
but happiness when shared, is doubled.

  1. Goodmorning Robin - Sounds like yesterday was a wonderful day for all and especially Emilie. Class lunch was small and we missed both you and Bill.......maybe 12 were there but we had our usual good time.......Dennis joined us and that was fun....by the way, he is looking excellent!! June Gilbert e-mailed yesterday and she wants a room at Campbell's...all are taken so they have something across the street but I am not sure if she will take that or look elsewhere at Lake Chelan. I have Emblem Club today and then Carla and I play cards afterwards...we have one game left out of our 9 after this game...my other partner Colleen and I have 2 left and Larry who has taken over for his sister in the neighborhood and I have one left, which we will play Monday night with our neighbors to finish up that group....NOTE TO SELF...WAY TO MUCH PINOCHLE! Love you, Diane
