As you can see, these little stuffed animals are a Lion (representing our high school, Kennewick Lions) a Moose that we got when we were in Alaska, and a new member of the group, a pretty pink bear.  They always travel with us.

Went to "Real Deals" today with Kristene, a really fun store that is open only on Thurs. and Sat.  Amazing prices on many items but I mainly just go to look at what's new since their inventory changes from week to week.  I did buy something today though, a couple of candles that are run by batteries, which is really the best kind.  No flame, no wax dripping, no fire, no soot on the ceiling and it smells good also, what a "Deal".  : )   Came home a bit tired so took a short nap, which I haven't needed to do for quite some time.

HOW THE FIGHT STARTED
My wife and I were sitting at a table at my high school reunion, and I kept staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink, as she sat alone at a nearby table.
My wife asked, "Do you know her?"
"Yes," I sighed,  "She's my old girlfriend.
I understand she took to drinking right after we split up, those many years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober since.
"Oh my!" says my wife, "Who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?"
And then the fight started....

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
People will forget what you said...
People will forget what you did...
But people will NEVER forget how you made them feel.

  1. Goodmorning Robin....That high school reunion story really made me chuckle...good way to start the day!!!!!! We went to the Red Lion in Pasco for a little Meet and Greet Buffet Dinner lastnight and had a so, so time. Amazing as Larry has been out of the Elks for quite some time and the faces have really changed. The one gal I always so enjoy did not come as she is doing the "Walk for Life" around Moses Lake. Good for her! Joe visits today and his pool is on the patio heating up so you know where I will be today......have a good day honey, Love you, Diane
