The nurse removing 22 staples and it didn't even hurt, that much.
Look Ma! No staples!!
Today was very eventful cause I got to have the staples taken out.....yea. I need to ween myself off the splint as in two hrs. off one day and three the next and etc. By Aug. 2nd I should be able to put the splint away to gather dust from somewhere. Kristene and Nicole came by a couple of times and Janene and Emilie came by and my Visiting Teacher came to visit. Very busy day. I can now type a little faster with my two fingers not being so numb and with the splint off. Life-is-good. Now I can slowly start getting some of this weight off that I had so much fun putting on. I read radiation can help with this----works for me.
Well, my two hrs. are up so on goes the splint.
LITTLE LARRY
A new teacher was trying to make use of her psychology courses. She started her class by saying, 'Everyone who thinks they're stupid, stand up!' After a few seconds, Little Larry stood up. The teacher said, 'Do you think you're stupid, Larry?' 'No Ma'am, but I hate to see you standing there all by yourself!'
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
"A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing."
Goodmorning Robin....Wow...that is quite the arm..sure would have thought that would have hurt getting those staples out...you are a brave woman........true "Lion"!!!! Del Vandine wrote me yesterday that Joann Wisher has lung cancer..he is going to see if he can get her e-mail address and get back to me. I have an address though so will send her a card. Yard work today and Joe comes to visit so will be a busy one here - Love you, Diane
