Growing old is ineviable, growing up is optional.
I had my nails done this morning and then we went to lunch, at our favorite place, located at Marine Land Village. We were going to go to a movie but there just wasn't anything on, that we wanted to see, so I guess that will have to happen another day. We went to Walgreen's to pick up an item we needed and as the lady checked us out she asked if we were ready for Christmas. I stated I was and she said she wasn't ready yet, and that things were so hectic she never really enjoys Christmas. Each year she says she will do better next year and then next year comes and it's just the same for her. Of course I had to give my spiel on things she could do to cut back on the hecticness. Of course she won't do these things unless she really wants to.
