Well, I hear it is supposed to snow this week-end, we will see. It may just rain. I guess we will take what we get. It would be fun though if we had snow on Christmas. Have you ever had Christmas in Hawaii? A few years back we were there in Dec. and it seemed so weird because it was so warm. I guess it will never snow in Hawaii anyway, I hope not. The amazing smells and the daily rainbows make up for no snow. Janene and I went to many shops today and it was amazing how much money we saved. It was a fun day.
I stood in the ice cream parlor watching in amazement as the girl behind the counter piled one mammoth scoop of ice cream after another onto my cone. It was so huge, I began to question whether she'd heard my order. "Excuse me," I said. "Is that a small?"
As she poured on the topping, she replied, "Not yet!"
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Money isn't everything, but it sure keeps you in touch with your children.

Goodmorning Robin - Sounds like another busy day for you. I spoke with Nancy Jacobs Eckert lastnight and she is doing quite well. Ed died of lung cancer. Off to the Mall to walk this AM and Larry is off to cardio rehab...by himself, no less. Much to do in the coming days...Love you
ReplyDeleteThat is the kind of ice cream store my hubby would love. And if you really want a white Christmas, I'll wish for one for you. But for me - I love the sunshine kind with no snow here in AZ.
ReplyDeleteahhh and how much lunch with your favorite granddaughters you missed....mmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteI love you anyways though.Glad you had a fun day
