This is (single)Kellen Park : )
Diane, your little rose bush just might make it, give it a chance, for a while anyway. Love your comments.
Oh my goodness, I felt like a noodle this morning with weights on my eyelids so I stayed home, from Church, because I didn't want to scare anyone and my body was totally out of sync. A very good friend or I should say adopted grandson, (Kellen Park) came by this eve. to visit. Haven't seen him in a while so his visit was much appreciated. He is going to college to become a nurse and I know he will be a very good one as long as the patients laugh at his jokes, it will keep them in stitches. Oh, that was bad. Sorry :(
Story
The sermon I think this Mom will never forget....this particular Sunday sermon..."Dear Lord," the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. "Without you, we are BUT DUST...." He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter, who was listening, leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill, little, four year old girl voice, "Mom, what is BUTT DUST?"
THUGHT FOR THE DAY
"IT'S A WONDERFUL WORLD"
By - Helen Steiner Rice
In spite of the fact we complain and lament,
And view this old world with much discontent,
Deploring conditions and grumbling because,
There's so much injustice and so many flaws.
It's a wonderful world and it's people like you,
Who make it that way by the things that you do,
For a warm ready smile or a kind, thoughtful deed,
Or a hand outstretched in an hour of need,
Can change our whole outlook and make the world bright.
Where a minute before just nothing seemed right,
It's a wonderful world and it always will be,
If we keep our eyes open and focused to see,
The wonderful things man is capable of,
When he opens his heart to God and His love.
