Can you believe it!!!...even the bag of chicken feed is pink.
Diane, so happy you are safely home. It is always fun to go but coming back home is the best. We were talking about Nancy, Sat. at lunch, and we all couldn't believe another classmate was gone from us, we just sat around and talked for about 2 hrs. I guess we all needed to find comfort in one another that day. I am so sorry for the loss of another very good friend of yours. This has been a hard year for you. Stay strong and know that you are loved by many.
Wasn't Conference just wonderful this week-end. I hung onto every word that was spoken. It seemed to me, that Pres. Monson was so sad, because Conference was over for 6 more months. For those of you that aren't members of the Church you must watch Conference next April. The words spoken are for the whole world not just for Church members, anyway it's just worth it to hear the "Mormon Tabernacle Choir". Janene and family came over to watch, because they don't have cable. We had a fun day.
Drive safe whereever you are.
PONDERISMS
2...There are two kinds of pedestrians: the quick and the dead.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
It is only a tiny rosebud,
A flower of God's design;
But I cannot unfold the petals
With these clumsy hands of mine.
The secret of unfolding flowers
Is not known to such as I.
GOD opens this flower so easily,
But in my hands they die.
If I cannot unfold a rosebud,
This flower of God's design,
Then how can I have the wisdom
To unfold this life of mine?
So I'll trust in God for leading,
Each moment of my day.
I will look to God for guidance,
In each step of the way.
The path that lies before me,
Only my Lord knows.
I'll trust God to unfold the moments,
Just as He unfolds the rose.
I thought that was so petty so I wanted to share it with everyone.
Good Morning Dear Friend - I was not a bit surprised to hear that everyone held on tight to each other at Class Lunch on Saturday. How fortunate we are to have such a wonderful and supportive extended family. Today I am out in the yard pulling up petunias in and back and side of our yard...the ones in the front still look fairly good so will leave them. Laundry still going on here as well. Have the Pie Social the 23rd of October and then Larrys birthday on the 13th of November but that will be a hoot!!!! Finally stepped on the scales this AM and only gained 2+ pounds on the trip so will be very careful as I was going to back out of WW on Thursday but will go and take my beating!!! Have a good day honey...Love you, Diane
