Our amazing grand-daughter, Samantha Crook, carved the breast cancer ribbon in a pumkin for me. Wasn't that sweet!!
We went to Janene and Kevin's ward today for the Primary program, that's held once a year. The kids are adorable, singing and giving little talks in Sacrement. Our good friend, that I talked about earlier, just passed away. It's really hard to believe we have had another one of our Family Home Eve. friends leave us. She was a very loving, kind, person and of course she still is, just on the other side of the vale. We know families are forever so when we all pass on we will be with our families. It is a very comforting thought.
I gave the wrong price yesterday, for the curtain panels, Kristene found at Fred Meyer's. They were on sale for less than $7:00 and Penney's were on sale for $23:00. Boy! What a mark-up. Bill cleaned our fish tank yesterday and now we know there are fish inside. It was really bad. All of a sudden, the wind blows and there are a pile of leaves, on the ground, in one day. Don't get blown away!
IN A VACUUM
A blonde was playing "trivial pursuit" one night....It was her turn. She rolled the dice and she landed on Science and Nature. Her question was, "If you are in a vacuum and someone calls your name, can you hear it?" She thought for a time and then asked, "Is it on or off?"
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
"I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights."
Goodmorning Robin - I am so sorry about your friends passing....comforting to know though that you will all be reunited though and she will be with her family. Not much happening in my world today.....toooooo cold for golf this AM and my partner is going to be unable to play the rest of the week so I guess it is a gym for me. The CBC Gym is very affordable for Sr's. Like 15.00 per quarter........can't beat that!! Have a good day honey - Love, Diane
