With my swollen feet, neither can I.

Well, this have been quit an eventful day.  It started by picking up our grand-daughter, Nicole, from driver's training.  We dropped her off and stopped at the vets to pick up some meds for one of our dogs (Barry), then off to do our cannery banking and run a couple of errands.  We came home and had a late lunch and Janene called to let me know she was on her way to pick me up to do alittle birthday shopping for her husband Kevin.  I have been having problems with my feet and ankles swelling up really bad for the last three weeks and by now they were hurting so bad I didn't want to walk any further.  Janene brought me home and Bill took me to the clinic to see what they could do for me.  Well, as luck would have it, they couldn't do anything for me because they didn't have the equipment neccessary.  Soooo, off we go the Kadlec emergency, where we spent the next 4 1/2 hours, taking blood, giving me an IV, x-rays, and ultrasound on my legs and arm and didn't get home until 11:00 pm.  After all that they still couldn't find anything wrong, so we really don't know what's wrong.

LITTLE LARRY
Larry watched, fascinated, as his mother smoothed cold cream on her face.  "Why do you do that mommy?" he asked.  "To make myself beautiful, said his mother, who then began removing the cream with a tissue.  "What's the matter,! asked Larry "Giving up?"

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Learn from the past, but live in the present.
