This is a picture of our oldest son , Phil and our oldest grandson, Todd.
WOW! I didn't realize I was so special and unique but found this out today while getting my 4th injection. We had asked the nurse if I could do a little shopping, with my mask on, and not touch anything, I would even wear gloves. That's when she said how low my blood count really was, so I would think twice about going out into buggy stores, but it was my choice. ( there was one store in particular not to go into) She stated I was, on friday, O.O and that she has only seen one other person that low and two with a O.2. How low can you go, well I can now say as low as possible. Well, you know what Bill said, we are going straight home, no questions asked. I was also told to go home and rest, which is hard for me since I feel so good. You might think, no shopping at the stores saves money, however, we have the internet and there is everything on the internet. I love it!
More of the story
Now and then she heard him say a few gentle words. The dying man said nothing, only held tightly to his son all through the night. Along towards dawn, the old man died. The Marine released the now lifeless hand he had been holding and went to tell the nurse. While she did what she had to do, he waited. Finally, she returned. She started to offer words of sympathy, but the Marine interrupted her.
I for sure will finish the story tomorrow. You might get a hanky handy.
