Today was a good.  We spent a few hours in the Temple because,  Phil's wife, Lana, went through  for her first time.  A couple of her friends, from High School, were there also.  We all went to the Olive Garden afterwards and had a great time.  Their food is so Yummy but I was still able to stick to my eating plan. I ordered a Parmesan Crusted Tilapia and only ate half of it and with no bread, it worked for me.  The entire dinner was 600 cal. but I am saving the other half for tomorrow. We went at 4:00 and had to wait 40 mins.  We thought going that early there wouldn't be such a long time in waiting, but it was worth it.  Brenda, friend of Lana's, has a 9 month old baby and I got to hold her, the entire time.  She is so little that you hardly know she is in your arms.  I had dolls that had hands bigger than hers.
We are having a family dinner, here tomorrow, to celebrate Richard's 44th Birthday.  I never have to ask what they want for dinner because it is a standing menu of Lasagna for both boys.  Sure makes it easy for me.

My son, a high school senior, went to take a national literacy test recently.  A sign on the classroom door read  "Literacy Testing in Progress:  Do Not....Distrub!"

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
I Believe....That my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.

  1. Goodafternoon Robin - Busy day yesterday with bringing Larry home....I was one scared gal all day and actually sat and stared at him while he slept....we did make it thru the night though and today is much more relaxed. Medicare has a new program to monitor vital signs so we got hooked up to that today and we will hear from the home nurse and rehab person probably on Monday to set them up to come in and check Larry over daily or every other day. He is doing great but sure want that to continue. Larry cannot be left alone for 10 days so my neighbor man came over yesterday and sat with him while I went to the store and today Larry's sisters husband sat with him so I could get him some zip up hoodies and some bulky pj's. All he had was a shirt from hawaiia that buttoned up...the man only has polo shirts..........Olive Garden sounds good....I like their soup and salad..good, good meal. Sounds like you are doing great on your eating plan...good for you. Best run....guess what.....I cooked a turkey breast, made gravey even.....sure was good...Larry is thinking he will give up cooking. Love you - Diane
