Hi Maya, nice to hear from you.  I need to come to Sears one of these days to see you.  I really miss you.
Diane, we didn't know Larry had cancer on his hand.  How is that going to effect the golfing?  I'm sure there is quite a bit of pain.
WOW!!!  What-a-day!!  This morning met Janene at Gold's Gym at 6:00 and then we spent an hr. doing water aerobics.  It was really a lot of fun.  My legs always want to float up so I had trouble staying in one place.  We use foam noodles, foam hand bars and a paddle board.  The idea is to do the exercises while pushing the foam, item, into the water and to either sit on them or just push them up and down, or back and forth.  Looks much easier than it is because I wasn't able to work them with either hand.  This will really help me build up some strength.  I came home, got ready for the day and took a short nap and then off to see my new primary care Dr. by 10:30. I was told I had to have one so, now I do.  She is very tiny, cute and I was impressed with her. While we were there we got a phone call from the radiation center wondering if I could be there by 2:00.  I tried to put it off until next Tues., when we get home from our vacation but they said there wouldn't be any problem having three before we leave.  We had plenty of time to do the banking at the cannery.  There is no pain or fear having radiation just funny having this huge machine move above me.  I have to go every day at the same time, 9:50 for 6 weeks.  I check in and then change into the same gown everyday.  We put them in a plastic bag with our names on them.  Then on to a little waiting room for a few minutes and then escorted to a large room with this big monster machine.  I lay on the table in the same spot every time.  I think I may have mentioned this but I was in before to take measurements and figure exactly where the radiation should be.  I lay on this uncomfortable piece of, whatever it is made of, and it forms to my head and down to my waist and up my sides just a little bit.  So I wiggle into position so I am just right on the spot.  I just lay there for a short time while they shoot me with rays.  It is quite an art.  After that we ran a couple of errands and came home and I took another short nap.  We just finished making three pans of lasagna for our trip.  Now it is time to put my feet up and relax.

HOW DO THESE PEOPLE SURVIVE?
A woman at work was seen putting a credit card into her floppy drive and pulling it out very quickly.
When I inquired as to what she was doing, she said she was shopping on the Internet and they kept asking for a credit card number, so she was using the ATM "thingy."

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Joy is found in the smallest of moments.  Like now!
