This is the house we are staying in, pretty nice, huh!

We don't have internet in this house, but they have wifi in the house next door so we are able to tap into theirs.  Lucky me!  And lucky you!   :-)

Let's see, where to begin, I guess from the beginning, which started this morning at 6:00.  I really don't like getting up that early, unless it's for a good reason and we definitely had a good reason.  We are now at Sun River for our family reunion, we planned a year ago.  So now I will back up to the beginning.  We mostly packed last night so we didn't have to get up even earlier.  Went to the Cancer Cntr., for my treatment, at 8:10.  Then to the cannery to do banking, which didn't take long at all, happy for that.  Then to Gini for my nail appointment at 9:30.  She is a great friend and the color she chose for me was,  "Electric Eel".  Very powerful looking.  She also put on sparkles, I love it.  We hit the freeway from there and only stopped once, for a potty brake, until we got here. Bill likes to take a straight path when we go out of town. Getting to the edge of Sun River resort was no problem but finding our home was a little difficult.  If you have been to Sun River you know what I mean.  It is one big labyrinth with a lot of round-a-bouts and little tiny signs naming the roads.  We were so confused we ended up going the wrong...way, on a one...way street, and two cars were going the right...way on the one...way street and there just isn't enough room for two cars, so of course we turned around and tried again.  We eventually found our home.  Very nice!!  This home has beds for eight people and also the home next to us.  Our third home sleeps eleven.

HOW DO THESE PEOPLE SURVIVE
#5
Several years ago, we had an Intern who was none too swift.  One day she was typing and turned to a secretary and said, "I'm almost out of typing paper.  What do I do?"  "Just use paper from the photocopier", the secretary told her.  With that, the intern took her last remaining blank piece of paper, put it on the photocopier and proceeded to make....five....blank....copies.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

  1. Goodafternoon Robin - That sure looks like a nice place you guys have.............from what I can see the weather looks nice as well. Anxious to read what you have to say tomorrow about your new adventure and see your pictures. We went to breakfast this AM and then on to "Real Deals" behind the Old Pollyanna Rest. on Washington St. I did buy a small serving dish for an XMas gift but thats all...for this Larry was very happy. Then some grocery shopping as we are going to Sami and Mike's new house for dinner at 4:30PM...need to take a bean dip which will make soon. Enjoy honey...hard to imagine you take radiation and just go on about your business....Amazing!!! Love you honey, Diane
