This is the machine that blasts me with radiation every morning, and the technician getting my molded form ready.
We are home!! It is so fun to leave but so wonderful to be heading home and to find all well here. Sun River is a great place to have a vacation. So much to do or just to take walks and ride bikes. It was so great to spend some time with my brother and Barb and a special treat to be with his son Hollend and Rosa and their family. They are from Liverpool, Cal. A nine hr. drive for them. We will get together two yrs. from now at a different destination but we don't know where as yet. I was so happy that I held up very well with all of the excitement. I did sleep most of the way home though. Janene and Kevin went to pick up our dogs and thier dog and then back to our house where we heated up some leftovers and had dinner together. Needless to say our dogs are very happy to be home. I have one in my lap and the other laying on my feet and the third sleeping somewhere. I brought home a new dog toy, which will be their favorite for a while.
An older gentleman was on the operating table awaiting surgery and he insisted that his son, a renouned surgeon, perform the operation. As he was about to get the anesthesia, he asked to speak to his son. "Yes dad what is it?" Don't be nervous, son; do your best and just remember if it doesn't go well, if something happens to me, your mother is going to come and live with you and your wife."
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
"I've learned that making a living is not the same thing as making a life."
Good Morning Robin - Happy you had such a great time with your brother and family and two years, to do it again, will come quickly!! I am off the play golf and then Larry to the eye doctor for the macro degeneration...hope that goes well. Eyes are a very important item. I heard from Marilyn Block yesterday and they are coming to Joyces...said they were but never sure as life has a way of changing our plans, as you well know. OK honey, have a good one...Love you, Diane
