Zion National Park
 What a beautiful place.

Day (3)   Let me think now, what did I do today.  The first thing I can remember is getting up, which was a fete in itself.  Did a bunch around here, got ready for the day and when Bill came home we took off for.... Home Depot.  Picked up six new door knobs to replace our very old ones,....about time.  Probably put in when the house was built, in the 50's. From there we went to Yoke's to pick a food item we couldn't find at Winco and from there we went over to Janene's to wait for Emilie to come home from school, since today was early release and Janene works on Wed., a few hours, at Hillcrest Funeral Home.  Then we came home to get ready for a dinner, at the cannery dri-pack.  Once a month we have a dinner with all the missionarys to hash over any concerns.  After the dinner we stopped at Winco, on our way home.  Relaxed the rest of the eve.  It was a very good day.

Reverend Boudreaux was the part-time pastor of the local Cajun Baptist Church, and Pastor Thiboaux was the minister of the Covenant Church across the road.  They were both standing by the road, pounding a sign into the ground that read: "Da End is Near! Turn You self Around Now! Before It's Too Late!"
As a car sped past them, the driver leaned out his window and yelled, "You religious nuts!" From the curve they heard screenching tires and a big splash...Boudreaux turns to Thibodaux and asks, "Di ya tink maybe da sign, should jus say...."Bridge Out"?

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
It's OK to let your children see you cry.

  1. Goodmorning Robin........Sounds like another fun packed day for you and your sidekick Bill. Not much happened here yesterday....Joe came to visit and if possible he is even getting cuter..played cards at 1:00PM...rather fun and play cards with 12 women tonight...cards for awhile around here. Larry and I are taking his sister to Spokane Tuesday afternoon for a biopsy Wednesday morning....looks like she will stay with her son and daughter-in-law afterwards in Spokane to be close in case she should have any problems....always something going on. Look forward to Saturday for our wonderful lunch and getting together with you, Bill and our classmates. Have a good day honey, Love you, Diane
