While Bill was working in Alaska, he took this picture of the Alaska Pipeline which transports oil from the North Slope down 800 miles to Valdez.

Today is Thurs. so guess who came for lunch....yup your right, Kareen and Chandler.  They are such sweet girls and....oh....so funny, they keep me in stitches.  Today was basically like yesterday, did a little of this and a little of that.  So that means it was a very good day.  One more day and I'm free to go anywhere, but I really don't have anyplace I want to go.  Just because I can, maybe I will think of some little place to go, like the grocery store so then I can say I went somewhere.  I certainly don't want to pass up the opportunity.

  1. Goodmorning Robin.......Happy the girls came to lunch as I know how much you enjoy that. Looking forward to more sunshine today and, of course, Joe visits so will be an active one!!! I am playing all of that silly pinochle again in Sept...suppose by the time Sept. rolls around I will be ready again....really enjoy the socialization factor, I think. Heaven knows, we are never in contention to win anything. Larry has a shotgun start this morning at 7:30AM at the golf course so he is looking forward to that. As for me, I think I will put on my swim suit and see if I can catch a few rays. Did get a perm yesterday which should help the very straight locks. Have a good day today...checked the Chelan weather...suppose to be 68 degrees on Wed.....so, thats a good thing!! Love you, Diane
