Over cast and drizzly day along the Washington coast near Kalaloch, yet so beautiful.
Well, it's me again. Robin is in too much pain and can't think to write. She and Kristene went out today to buy the groceries needed for our family reunion, later this week, and it took them 3 1/2 hrs. They kept running into people they knew and you know Robin, she always takes the time to talk. Her feet are doing better as most of the swelling has gone, but the ankles are still swollen.
HOW DO THESE PEOPLE SURVIVE?
#2
I was checking out at the local Wal-Mart with just a few items and the lady behind me put her things on the belt close to mine. I picked up one of those 'dividers' that they keep by the cash register and placed it between our things so they wouldn't get mixed. After the girl had scanned all of my items, she picked up the 'divider', looking it all over for the bar code, she said to me, "Do you know how much this is?" I said to her I've changed my mind; I don't think I'll buy that today." She said "OK", and I paid her for the things and left. She had no clue to what had just happened.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Never stop learning.
Goodmorning Robin - Glad you are getting ready to go to your Family Reunion at Sun River. That will be a wonderful time for all of you. Sounds like the swelling is going down, which is a good thing. I am off to the golf course this AM...oh my, three days in a row. Larry got the cancer on his had cut out yesterday...sure a small amount of tissue they remove for so many stitches. He is doing fine though. Must hit the shower........Love you, Diane
