We have been wanting to cut the dead wood out of this tree for the past 3 or 4 years.  Our son Richard came over today and did it for us.  Happy day!!  It took two truck loads to the dump to haul it all off.

What do you think of my new hair style?

Now I know why my arm has been hurting more lately.  I went to see Dr. Fischer this afternoon and he said my nerves are waking up and starting to heal so it feels like electrical shocks shooting through my arm.  Fortunately it only lasts a few seconds but it aches most of the time.  My new friend is hydrocodone.  I was a little concerned because I didn't know it would hurt more as time went on.  My other surgery was so much easier than this one, in the healing part.  He wants me to go to a Physical Therapist to add more torcher.  He is so funny.
I went back to the cancer center today to have a wig chosen and styled by Franki, of Franki & Co.  She volunteers out there to help people look good in a wig.
Bill is all packed for his Motorcycle trip with the guys.  He leaves Fri. and is home on Mon.  Kareen Law is coming over to take care of her Grandma.  I will be in good hands.

SENIOR MOMENTS
Morris, an 82 year-old man, went to the Dr. to get a physical.  A few days later, the Dr. saw Morris walking down the street with a gorgeous young woman on his arm.  A couple of days later, the Dr. spoke to Morris and said, "You're really doing great, aren't you."  Morris replied, "Just doing what you said, Doc: "Get a hot mamma and be cheerful."  The Dr. said, "I didn't say that...I said, "you've got a heart murmur; be careful."

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
  THE ZEN OF SARCASM
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.
