Me and my kids

I was pretty tired most of the day but it was wonderful anyway.  Anytime we can be with family makes for a great day.  We had our immediate family with spouses, all of our grandchildren and our two great-grandchildren.  Dinner was at Janene and Kevin's home.  How wonderful for the weather to cooperate and be nice the entire day.  YEA
Thank you for all of your comments and the wonderful support.  I am doing great.

Should children witness childbirth?
Good question.
Here's your answer.

Due to a power outage, only one paramedic responded to the call.  The house was very dark so the paramedic asked Kathleen a 3-yr old girl, to hold a flashlight high over her mommy so he could see while he helped deliver the baby....
Very diligently, Kathleen did as she was asked.  Heidi pushed and pushed and after a little while, Connor was born.
The paramedic lifted him by his little feet and spanked him on his bottom.  Connor began to cry.  The paramedic then thanked Kathleen for her help and asked the wide-eyed 3-yr old what she thought about what she had just witnessed.
Kathleen quickly responded, "He shouldn't have crawled in there in the first place....smack his bottom again!"

  1. Goodmorning Robin......Great picture of you and your children and I am so happy you had such a nice day. We had lots of fun at Columbia Park..got down there about 1:30 as event to start at 2:00..we finally found a table and sat right down to save it...then we saw this covered area..very few people in it...so we moved...then came the park ranger to tell us it was rented..of course, our other table was gone. The park ranger was nice enough to drag us up a table, in the shade. Beautiful day and lots of fun...tomorrow Roxie and her partner are here for pinochle..NOTE TO SELF...NOT SO MUCH PINOCHLE NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!!! Have a good day honey...Love You, Diane
