These are the two cakes Janene made for the party.  The pictures are edible.  It doesn't show in the pictures how pretty the cakes really were and also how very large.  The picture makes them look like they are lop sided but they weren't, it was just the angle that I was taking the pictures.

Diane, I wonder if your niece knows our granddaughter's boy friend?   He also goes to Southridge, (Sean Phenneger).  That really is sad they beat Kennewick.  It might happen in football also.   I want to know all about your motor coach ride to the Dakota's.  It sounds like a lot of fun.
Hi Shirley, what's up with your back?

I haven't been to a birthday party in a long time.  We went to Moses Lake today to help celebrate Sheldon Law's 80th birthday.  Most of their family was there, consisting of 8 kids and spouses and lots and lots of grandchildren and several greats and lots of friends.  Over 100 people were there.   It was so much fun, and the food,  Oh My, everything was so good.  Homemade ice cream, 4 different flavors and enough food to feed 200 people.  I felt great, it was a very good day.

REAL MOTHER'S
Real Mother's sometime ask  "why me?"   And get their answer when a little voice says, "Because I love you best."

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

  1. Holy Moley those cakes look like they would have taken a very long time. They look amazing. I hope I live to be 80 and I am going to have Janene make my cakes.
