Our Granddaughter Sam, helping us out.

With both of us laid up, we hired Sam to do some work for us.  She's a great worker, fast, concise, and doesn't charge very much and no you can't have her, she's all ours.   We have much more work for her.
Phil and Lana are on their way over before they leave, with their last load, for Bellevue, where they moved to.  Janene and Kevin were on their way to the grocery store when they called to see if we needed anything, so they are on their way over also.  Amanda just got off work so she is on her way also. Will finish this later.
Two hrs. later;  We had a great visit with every one, especially Baileigh, our great granddaughter.  She is such a cutie and of course very smart.
I think I may go to bed early, like 11:30.   :-)

KIDS ARE QUICK
Teacher:  "Millie, give me a sentence starting with  "I".
  Millie:  "I is..."
Teacher:  "No Millie....Always say,  "I am".
Millie:  "All right...I am the ninth letter of the alphebet..."

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

  1. Good Morning Robin....My, that bank of windows looks so very inviting and it sounds like you got "much" visiting done. We were really busy yesterday......wonderful Patriot Day at the Elks...it was just underattended by about 50 people, which is a shame. I have an Emblem Club meeting today at 3:30 and hopefully cards afterwards. The picnic in the "hood" was sort of fun.....as we did not play in the golf tourney not quite the same spark for us. Sat on Larry's sisters patio though and had a good visit with her. Have a good day today honey, Love you, Diane
