Gifts I received today. Amazing how the hat and scarf match as if they were bought together
This has been a marvelous day, so many surprises. We had an extra lunch today with several classmates because a classmate, Gwen Childs, from out of town, was here and when that happens we have a lunch during the week and also our usual lunch, the first Sat. of every month. Another classmate's wife, Peggy Ledford, gave me a gift from the coach store. They have a special this month, being it is "breast cancer month. It is a beautiful scarf and key chain, in pink. 25% of these sales goes to the cause. When we got home a package was in the mail from another classmate's wife, Kathy Hardtke. This adorable cap you see in the picture. We have an amazing class ( of 1962 ) with their amazing spouses. It just blows my mind on how wonderful everyone is. Who would have known, back in High School, that we would be such great friends now. What a blessing in Bill's and my life. This eve. we had our last dinner, with the missionaries, at the dry pack. We were honored with a book "To The Rescue" a biography of Pres. Thomas S. Monson. I am so excited to get started reading this beautiful book. It will take a while, since there are many many pages.
Now you see why I said this was a marvelous day.
AGING
Inside every older person is a younger person....wondering what happened.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
What makes me victorious? My courage to climb.
What makes me competent? My confidence.
What makes me sensual? My insatiably essence.
One more continuation....
