It's been a wonderful day, just knowing I don't have radiation tomorrow, makes me very happy. Talks at church were wonderful, very uplifting. Our Bishop and his son came to Home Teach us this afternoon bringing such a sweet spirit into our home. Next week is General Conference, I can't wait, but I guess I will have to. We are having a very nice, quiet eve. Bill's back is doing better and he is very happy about that fact. Can you believe it, Oct. is almost here, just four more days. We are in the process of getting rid of stuff and I think it will be an all winter project. We have lived here for so long it seems easy to gather things and now a lot of it has turned into....stuff. Things we haven't used for many, many years are headed to be filed under..G, for garbage or....GW, for Goodwill.
Have a great day!!
GENTLE THOUGHTS
The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight, because by then your body and your fat have gotten to be really good friends. One more....
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know "why" I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, grape juice in the other, totally worn out and screaming....WOOO HOOOOO. what a ride!!!
