Had a good time today going to Shopko, Penneys, and JoAnn's, with Janene. I have a word to say about Shopko. The last time we were there, we said it would be the last time. Well, I don't know what got into me going there today, but we did and this definately is the last time. They never have what is in their sale ads or it is made very cheaply. Now some of you might have very good experiences there and I am very happy for you but for me I will go to "Target". :-) Then I had my nails done today by my good friend, Gini. She just sent her, only child, to College in Cheney. It was a very bitter/sweet experience, she told me. She's an amazing person, many health problems and being a single mother makes it even harder but she never complains and is such an up/beat person. Tomorrow more fun times.
Be happy and stay strong.
REAL MOTHERS
Real mother's know that a child's growth is not measured by height or years or grade....It is marked by the progression of Mommy to Mom to Mother....
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Continued from yesterday
What sustains my mind? My quest for knowledge.
What teaches me all lessons? My mistakes.
What lift's my head high? My pride, not arrogance.
What if I can't go on? Not an option.
